Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sandhyágagane mrdu samiirańe
Ke go tumi ele mor mane
Cinite pári ni jánite pári ni
Bujhite pári ni kii kárańe

Chilum bhule nijeke niye
Mor jata trut́i rekhe lukiye
Dekhi jáno sab mor anubhav
Sabi tava nakhadarpańe

Bujhilám kichu d́háká náhi jáy
Gopan bhávaná tava káne jáy
Sabár májháre sabár báhire
Rayecho maner madhuvane

O lord, during evening sky, with the soft breeze,
who is that you, who came into my mind.
I could not recognize, know or understand, for what reason.
confining myself to my own self, i had forgotten you,
hiding my all defects. but i saw that you know all my events
in the mirror of your nail.
i know now that nothing can be hidden,
all secret thoughts go to Your ears.
within everyone and outside everyone,
you stay in the sweet mental garden.
