Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Saptaloke tumi bhariyá rayecho
Maneri shatadale nece calo
Jiivane sabár áshá ákáuṋkśár
Pratiik tumi priya ucchala

Bhuvane tomár tulaná náhi pái
Áṋkhi khule mude jabe jedike cái
Tumi cháŕá stháyii ár keha nái
Nirásh mlán mukhe álo d́hálo

Tomáre dekhechi ghor amávasyáy
Tomáre peyechi madhu jochanáy
Ácho sáthe sáthe sukhe hatásháy
Bhálor ceye tumi beshi bhálo

O lord, you have filled all the seven lokas (arenas)
with yourself and continue dancing
in the hundredpetal lotus (of the mind/cakra).
o dear, as the symbol of hopes and aspirations
in the life of everyone you are vibrant.
i do not find any comparison of Yours in the world.
whether my eyes are open or closed,
in whichever direction i look
I do not find any one permanent or eternal
other than you. you pour your divine effulgence
upon the faces of those who are hopeless and dejected.
i see you in the intensely dark night.
i find you in the sweet moonlight.
you are along with me all the time
both in happiness and hopelessness.
you are excellent amidst the best.
