Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sei púrńimá ráte ámi
Chinu svapaner ghore
Sei máyár rájpuriite
Dekhechinu
Dekhechinu tomáre

Sethá kusume suvás chilo
Já mádhuriite d́heke dilo
Sethá madhur parash áshe
Madhukar ghúrchilo
Sei niráláy bhese bhese
Hesechilo
Hesechilo sudhákare

Sethá kusume chilo ná káṋt́á
Jiivane chilo ná bháṋt́á
Sethá joyáreri ujáne
Chilo candana bát́á
Sei niiháriká mákhá niile
Necechilo
Necechilo mana mayúre

On that full moon night i was in deep dream.
in that capital of delusive arena, ma’ya’,
i saw you. there fragrance of flower was present
covered with sweetness.
there with the hope of sweet touch,
bee was hovering.
there floating continuously all alone,
the moon was smiling.
there the flowers were thorn less
and there was no downstream tide in life.
there sandal was pasted in the upward flow,
smeared with which the nebula continued dancing
like mental peacock.
