Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Shunechi tumi dayálu
Káje kena anya dekhi
Tomár tare áṋkhi jhare
Din cale jáy tomáy d́áki

Bhálabási tomáy jeno
Tuccha haleo ańu meno
Ańur vyatháy bhúmár vyathá
Eo bujhite páro náki

Já icchá tái koro priya
Shudhu ámáy sauṋge nio
Marmakathá vyákulatá
Kathár jále jáy ná d́háki

O lord, i have heard that you are merciful,
why then i see difference in actions.
For you my eyes are showering
and my days are passing in calling you.
You know that i love you.
i am meager atom. but the pain of the unit
is the pain of the cosmic.
don't you understand this.
o dear, please go on doing according to your desire
but only keep me along with you.
the pain and grief of my heart cannot be appeased
and covered up by the mere jugglery of words.
