Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Smita diipáloke chile dyuloke
Neve ele kár áshe (tumi)
Práńer pulake pratit́i palake
Siimáre melále asheśe

Tomár samán keha náhi ár
Eta udáratá eta priitibhár
Kańt́he tomár madhurimá hár
Lalát́e garimá jhalase

Sabár ápan sabákár priya
Sabár tiirtha anusarańiiya
Sabár marme cira varańiiya
Cidákáshe ár mahákáshe

O lord, in the divine arena, you resided like smiling
lamp illumination, with what hope did you descend down.
With each blink, delighting the heart, you merged the
limitations into endlessness. there is no one else like you,
with so much generosity and lots of love. in your neck is
garland of sweetness, on your forehead, greatness dazzles.
Everyone's own, everybody's dear, everybody's pilgrim to be
followed, ever adorable in each mind, in the firmament
of mind and in great sky.
