Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sumukhe ásiyá dánŕáo prabhu tumi
Nayana bhariyá dekhibo tomáy
Manera kánane surabhi rańane
Rauṋ berauṋer phulera shobháy

(Mahákásher mata) Manke dáo bhare
Niiháriká candane shuci kare
Eso dhiire dhiire snigdha samiire
Runujhunu jhunu núpura páy

(Madhula madhumákhá) Manera madhumás
Náce gáne táte áne go ullás
Tomár hásit́i mohana báṋshiit́i
Prápti sukhe jena more mátáy

Lord, come and stand before me;
Filling my eyes, I will observe Thee.
In my mental garden, with a fragrant jingle,
Flowers of many colors twinkle.

Universalism – make it fill my mind;
Purify with the sandalpaste of nebulae.
Come stately on a gentle breeze,
With ringing of ankle bells at Your feet.

Honey-coated sweetness– this mental spring,
With dance and song, oh it brings cheer.
Your smile and Your magic flute–
To get bliss, let them infatuate me.
