Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Súrja ut́heche tamah náshiyáche
Ákásh heseche rúpáloke
Shatek juger láiṋchanábhár
Bhásiyá giyáche se áloke

Álor ságare tuphán eseche
Sakal jaŕatá niirave sareche
Sakal kálimá mukh lukáyeche
Jyotiriish tava liilá dekhe

Kálo javaniká se álote liin
Krśńa ákásh hayeche suniil
Sab avicár sab anácár
Bhaye bhaye dekhe se dyutike

The sun has risen, gloom is disappearing;
Sky has smiled with radiant beauty.
A hundred ages laden with humiliation
They have faded beneath that effulgence.

In the sea of light, a storm has come;
All staticity has quietly withdrawn.
All stigmata have hidden their face,
Lord of Light, on seeing Your play.

By that light the dark shroud is consumed;
Black sky has morphed into a deep blue.
Every injustice and every corruption,
Sheepishly they view that brilliant splendor.
