Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Táre go peyechi
Saḿgopane mor jiivane
Jiivane jiivane
Alakha devatá niirava prahare
Dhará diyechilo mor mane
Mane mane

Eta káche chilo se je náhi jánitám
Ná jániyá nám gán tári karitám
Tári álo tári álo more cináiyá dilo
Se chilo mane gopane
Gopane gopane

E ki go phulad́ore se more báṋdhe
Paráńa dhariyá se kena sádhe
Tári áṋkhi tári áṋkhi mor hiyára gahane
Rauṋe rúpe sudhádhárá áne
Áne áne

Oh I have got Him
Privately in my life,
In my life.
In my silent hours, the Unseen God
Let me hold Him in my mind,
In my mind.

I did not know how close He was.
Even before knowing Him,
I had sung His praise.
By His effulgence,
I became acquainted with him.

He had been secretly residing in my mind.
How He bound me with a floral thread
And captured my entire being, I do not understand.

His eyes gazed deep into the core of my heart
And induced in it a nectarial flow of forms and colors.
