Toke parabo bale canpa baul phule is the 578th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Toke parábo bale cáṋpá baul phule
Málá ámi geṋthe rekhechi
Sei sauṋge man mor beṋdhechi

Nanad bágŕá dey phul ánte náhi dey
Tabu phul vanke giye enechi

Ákásh bháuṋá jal joŕete haŕká d́hal
Bhije bhije pathe ámi calechi
Mahul kacŕá bece tor chavi kinechi

O lord,
I threaded a garland
of ca'mpa' and bakul flowers
to place around your neck.
My mind too, i tied to it.

My sister in law had created obstacles
and did not let me pluck these flowers.
I nevertheless went into my garden
and picked them.

It was raining heavily
and the river became flooded.
I carried on walking
and became drenched.

By selling raw mahul,
I purchased your image.
