Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáke cái ámi jiivane
Áloke áṋdháre sabkháne
Tomáy sauṋge niye thákte cái
Tumi ámár tumi ámár

E mor marubhúmir ek końe
Thákbo tumi ámi dujane
Tumi cháŕá ár kichu náhi cái
Tumi áshray tumi ádhár

Cale geche járá atiite
Ásche járá bhaviśyate
Táder maner kathá bale jái
Keu niic nay sabái tomár

Pathe vá vipathe jái kari
Tomáke jena shire dhari
Shravańe manane giite gái
Rúpe tumi ananta guńe apár

O Lord, I want You in my life
everywhere, in the light
and in the darkness as well.
I want to live in Your company,
You are mine, You are mine only.
In one corner of my desert like heart,
both only You and I will live together.
I do not want anything else except You.
You are the shelter and you are the base.
Those who have gone away in the past,
and those who will come in the future,
I would continue speaking about their minds.
No one is inferior, all are Yours.
Whatever I do in right or wrong way,
I would do adoring You,
and sing Your glory
with concentration and hearing.
You are endless in beauty
and unlimited in qualities.
