Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáke jenechi marme bujhechi
Ámi tomár tumi ámár
Tomáke bhule bhesechi akúle
Kari trut́i sviikár ápanár

Dugdha tháke ki dhavalatá báde
Utsava hay ki shoke viśáde
Tomári saḿsár tumi sárátsár
Sabái pratyáshii tava krpár

Jale sthale antariikśe tumi bhará
Anuráge rúpe ráge bhariyá rekhecho dhará
Tomáke niye tomáke ceye
Sabái náce ghire carań tomár

O lord, i know you and understand
in the core of my heart that
“you are mine and i am Yours”.
having forgotten you i was floating shore less,
i fully accept my blunder and fault.
can milk be without whiteness;
can festivity be with afflictions and mourning?
the world is yours and
you are the essence of essence of all.
all are aspiring for your grace.
The water, land and the cosmos
is full of you. with love, beauty and colour,
you have kept the earth filled.
taking you, around you, all dance
surrounding your feet.
