Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáke khuṋjechi ná dekhe bhálabesechi
Shunechi tomár kathá lokamukhe
Tumi ándháre álo áno káche t́ánite jáno
Shudhariye dite cáo sab pápiike

Alakh niraiṋjan he prabhu sabákár
Kalyáńadyuti jválo marma májhe ámár
Bhul pathe já calechi bhul kare já karechi
Saráo se gláni mor tumi ájike

Tava káj kare jábo tomári haye rabo
Tomár májháre pábo jiivaner gaorav
Vishálatá tava habe mor vaebhav
Egiye jábo tákiye sumukhe

O lord, i look for you,
love you even without seeing you,
and listen about you from people.
you bring light into darkness,
know how to pull close,
and want to rectify all sinners.
o lord of all, unseen, without blemish,
kindle the light of auspiciousness into
the core of my mind.
whatever wrong path i had treaded,
whatever wrong actions i had performed,
the repentance of all you remove today.
i shall continue doing your job,
remain Your own, within you,
i shall achieve the glory of life.
your greatness will be my asset
and i shall move ahead looking forward.
