Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomákei bhálabásiyáchi
Tomákei sár jenechi
Tomákei práń saṋpiyáchi
Tava káje vrata niyechi

Cetanár sei uśákál hate
Bhásiyá calechi tomári srote
Sroter kusum ámi go
Tomári d́heuye nece calechi

(Ámi) Jiivaner sandhyáráge
Mishe rabo tava anuráge
Paráger madhu mákháye
(Ámi) Aruparatan cinechi

I'm in love with You alone—
You're the essence of all I've known.
I commit my life to Thee;
I have pledged to do Your deeds.

Ever since you awakened my consciousness,
I have been floating in your stream,
with the lightness of a flower.
I continue dancing along to the rhythm of your waves.

By your love,
in this new melody of my life's dusk,
I become submerged into a fragrance of sweetness.
I now recognise that formless gem.
