Janame janame jiivane marańe
Egiye cali káṋt́á dali

Varaśá jáminiite tamasá jáminiite[nb 2]
Patha hate kabhu námi ni
Ámi tava bhávanár madhu kali

Shuklá nishiithe eklá tava sáthe
Milaner tare málá geṋthe
Caliyá áchi ámi priiti d́háli

তোমার পথ ধরে’ আমি চলি
জনমে জনমে জীবনে মরণে
এগিয়ে চলি কাঁটা দলি’

বরষা যামিনীতে তমসা যামিনীতে
পথ হতে কভু নামি নি
আমি তব ভাবনার মধু কলি

শুক্লা নিশীথে একলা তব সাথে
মিলনের তরে মালা গেঁথে'
চলিয়া আছি আমি প্রীতি ঢালি'

Having clung to Your path, I proceed.
Birth after birth, in life and death,
Crushing thorns, I go ahead.

On rainy nights, on gloomy nights,
From Your path, I did not decline.
The honey-bud of Your thought am I.

On fair nights, alone with Thee,
Having strung a garland for our meeting,
Love-diffusing, I am walking.
