Tomar svarup, bujhe otha day is the 1717th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomár svarúp
Bujhe ot́há dáy
Kabhu kat́hor kabhu komal
Kabhu áloy jhalakáy

Áṋdhár ghare pradiip jválo
Násho maner nithar kálo
Shuśka hiyay sudhá d́hálo
Balo náko tháko kotháy

Sarva jiṋáner tumii ádhár
Sarva bodher tumi múládhár
Sarva shiirśe smita sahasrár
Sarvávastháy tumi saháy

Your true nature–
It is tough to discern.
Sometimes soft, sometimes stern...
Sometimes brightly it does glitter.

At the gloomy home You light a lamp;
You rid the psyche's static black.
On arid heart You pour ambrosia...
Where You stay You never say.

You alone are the store of all wisdom;
You're the base of all cognition.
On all heads, the soul's seat blossomed...
In each state[nb 2] You are an aid.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ In the second line of this verse we find a reference to múládhár. In the third line of this verse we find sahasrár. These are the first and last cakras. Hence, "in each state" takes on a meaning that includes not just every external condition but also every internal one as well.
