Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáre ceyechi álo cháyáy
Prabhát beláy sandhyá sáyare
Dharár dyotanáy ná balá vyatháy
Supta bhálabásáy bhávera gabhiire

He mor priya cirakálera bandhu
Amrtamathita tumi mahásindhu
Tumi rayecho tái beṋce áche sabái
Chande chande tava námadháre

Áro káche eso marma májhe mesho
Asmitári sheś resht́ukuo násho
Jiivandhárár pathe uha avoha sáthe
Cittatat́inii cáy tava sudhásáre

O lord, i wanted you in both light and shade,
in morning time and evening lake.
also in shine of the world and unspoken pain,
in latent love and depth of feelings.
o my dear, eternal companion,
you are the nectar after churning the great ocean.
Since you exist, all are surviving,
with each rhythm and new basis of name.
come closer and merge in the core,
destroying completely the ego.
on the path of the flow of life,
with feeling, the river of mind
wants your essence of nectar.
