Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáre dekhi ni nikat́e pái ni
Mane mane shudhu bheve gechi
Prasupta áshá jata bhálabásá
Jágiye tulite sádhaná karechi

Navaniite pái tomár komalatá
Kusumanirjáse bhará tava madhuratá
Nabhoniile bháse tomár vyápakatá
Dekheshune tanmay hayechi

Jáná ná jánár úrdhvaloke tumi
Ańu paramáńu stare rayecho abhracumi
Citter gabhiire káṋpiye saptabhúmi
Rayecho sabár káchákáchi

O lord,
I did not see you, nor found close by;
only i continued thinking solely about you in the mind.
Raising the sleeping aspiration, with all love, on awakening,
I perform sa'dhana', the spiritual endeavor for attaining you.
In the butter, i find your softness.
In the fragrant essence of flowers; your sweetness is filled.
In the blue sky, your pervasiveness flashes.
Seeing and listening to all that i get absorbed.

You are in the arena above known and unknown.
In the layers of atoms and molecules,
You remain in close contact up to sky.
You vibrate the depth of mind in the seven layers.
You stay very much close to all.
