Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomári bharasáy májh dariyáy
Bhese jáy jiivantarii ámár
Pratikúlatáy náhi se theme jáy
Náhi kare háhákár

Tumi je nidán karuńánidhán
Tomáre sadá smari sadá prańám kari
Tomári áshiise egiye jái hese
Krpákańá niye sáthe tomár

Tomári sure ráge tomári anuráge
Madhu jame mor práńera paráge
Tomári nám niye tomári giiti geye
Tomáre bujhiyáchi sár

Relying on You only amid the sea,
My ship of life keeps sailing.
It does not halt for opposition,
Nor does it ever lament.

You're the fountainhead of mercy;
Ever I remember You, and I bow before Thee.
By Your blessing I go ahead with a smile on my face,
Carrying along with me a speck of Your divine grace.

With Your music and Your love sublime,
A sweetness accrues to the pollen of my life.
Taking Your holy name and Your songs ever singing,
I have realized You to be the very best of me.
