Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Prabhu) Tomári liilá tumi bojháo
Maner májhe lukiye tháko
Dhará náhi dite cáo

Dekhe se madhura hási
Shuńe se mohana báṋshii
Mana kothá jáy bhási
More káche t́ene ná

Bhulite cáhi go yadi
Ná bhúle sadái káṋdi
Kena phulad́ore rákho báṋdhi
Balo tumi kii bá cáo

Lord, only You can explain Your liila.
You lie hidden within mind,
And You choose not to be caught.

By observing your sweet smile
and by listening to your enchanting flute,
the mind goes on floating towards you.
Unto you it is being pulled.

Even though i want to forget you,
(i never do, and) by never forgetting you,
I constantly cry.

Why did you tie me unto you
with a floral rope?
Tell me: what is it that you want?
