Maner májhe lukiye tháko
Dhará náhi dite cáo

Dekhe se madhura hási
Shuńe se mohana báṋshii
Mana kothá jáy bhási
More káche t́ene náo

Bhulite cáhi go yadi
Ná bhúle sadái káṋdi
Kena phulad́ore rákho báṋdhi
Balo tumi kii bá cáo

(প্রভু) তোমারই লীলা তুমি বোঝাও
মনের মাঝে লুকিয়ে থাকো
ধরা নাহি দিতে চাও

দেখে সে মধুর হাসি
শুণে সে মোহন বাঁশী
মন কোথা যায় ভাসি
মোরে কাছে টেনে নাও

ভুলিতে চাহি গো যদি
না ভুলে সদাই কাঁদি
কেন ফুলডোরে রাখো বাঁধি
বলো তুমি কী বা চাও

Lord, only You can explain Your liila.
You lie hidden within the mind,
And You choose not to be caught.

Seeing that sweet smile,
Hearing that magic flute,
My mind drifts away;
You draw me nigh.

Even when I want to forget,
Never forgetting, I always cry.
Why keep me bound with a flowerstrand—
Tell me, what is it You desire?
