Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáy ceye tomáy bheve
Din je cale jáy ámár
Kathá shono ná kathá balo ná (tumi)
Kii je kari balo ek bár

Ámi tomáy paboi pábo
Tomár chilum tomár habo
Moher ghore ghure ghure
Bhulechilum ámi tomár

Kamal bhálabáse ravike
Chot́t́a haleo bháve baŕake
Ámi bhálabási tomáke
Dúre tháká jáy ná ár

O lord, looking at and thinking about you my days are passing.
You do not hear me nor you talk, tell me what should i do. i shall
certainly attain you. i was yours and i shall remain yours. when
I was wandering in the cimmerian darkness, i had forgotten you.
The lotus loves the sun, despite smallness, it loves the great.
Similarly, i love you and cannot stay away any more.
