Tumi acho tai achi is the 2375th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi ácho tái áchi
Tumii ámár cokher mańi
Práńer pradiip jáni bujhi
Tái áchi ácho tumi[nb 2]

Ajáná kon dúr atiite
Bhesechilum tomár srote
Tári ráge chande giite
Tomáy bhálabásiyáchi

Rekho ná ámáre dúre
Ei vinati báre báre
Marma májhe mohan sáje
Tomáy bheve ámi náci

You are here, and thus am I;
You alone are the jewel of my eye,
The lamp of life, I realize...
And so I be, for You abide.

Unknown at which long-bygone era,
I had floated in upon Your current.
With only its tune, its beat, its hymn,
Yourself have I prized.

Please don't retain me at a distance;
It's my fervid prayer time and again.
Inside heart-core with charming raiment,
Having thought on You, I caper in delight.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ The order of the last two words of this line is speculative. Either way, the meaning is unchanged. But, given the rhyme scheme, it makes more sense than the reverse.
