Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi áṋdhár ghare jválo álo
Vyatháhate báso bhálo
Duhát diye dáo muchiye
Lágale gáye páper kálo

Tumi cháŕá keu káro nái
Tomár páne tái to tákái
Tomáy niye áchi sadái
Sarvakalei priiti d́hálo

Kabhu kotháy keu eká nay
Tháke jadi tava varábhay
Shaelashikhar nata shire ray
Amáy háse rauṋmashálo

O lord, you kindle light in dark houses,
and love the distressed one.
With both hands,
You wipe away the stains of sin from the body.
Except for you,
nobody has anyone else in real sense.

Because of this, everyone looks towards you
for your eternal shelter and divine grace.
By your infinite grace, i am always in your shelter.
And you eternally shower your love.

Nobody is ever alone
if the divine blessing of your vara'bhaya mudra is available.
Even the highest mountains bow down their heads.
Smilingly over me, bring colourful illumination.
