Juga juga dhari áchi je jági
Tomáre hrdaye dharivár lági
Báṋciyá rayechi sukhabhog tyági
Sájáno vediite ese baso

Kandarpapati násho darpa
Ahame gaŕá sakala garva
Sphiita ahamiká karo he kharva
Jaŕatár tamasá násho

(তুমি আরো) কাছে এসো
মনোমাঝে থেকে' মৃদু হাসো

যুগ যুগ ধরি' আছি যে জাগি'
তোমারে হৃদয়ে ধরিবার লাগি'
বাঁচিয়া রয়েছি সুখভোগ ত্যাগি'
সাজানো বেদীতে এসে' বসো

কন্দর্পপতি নাশো দর্প
অহমে গড়া সকল গর্ব
স্ফীত অহমিকা করো হে খর্ব
জড়তার তমসা নাশো

Do come closer, please come near;
Staying within psyche, smile tenderly.

Since ages am I vigilant
For catching You in my heart.
I've stayed alive forsaking merriment;
At the dais adorned, come take a seat.

Ruler of the god of love, pride You demolish;
Growing within ego is all haughtiness.
But vanity inflated, hey, You humble;
You crush the vice of being worldly.
