Mor kálanidrá bheuṋge dio
Jadi káj bhule ghume paŕi d́hule
Vajra ághośe jágáio

Vanaviithikáy bicháno bakule
Aruń jakhan hese ese bale
Ámi áchi sáthe kále akále
Se áshvása mane kario

Jvaladarcite ákásher końe
Indradhanu je máyájál bone
Se nay satya súrjai rta
E sháshvata váńii shuniyo

তুমি চুপিচুপি ঘরে আসিও
মোর কালনিদ্রা ভেঙ্গে’ দিও
যদি কাজ ভুলে’ ঘুমে পড়ি ঢুলে’
বজ্র আঘোষে জাগাইও

বনবীথিকায় বিছানো বকুলে
অরুণ যখন হেসে’ এসে’ বলে
আমি আছি সাথে কালে অকালে
সে আশ্বাস মনে ভরিও

জ্বলদর্চিতে আকাশের কোণে
ইন্দ্রধনু যে মায়াজাল বোনে
সে নয় সত্য সূর্যই ঋত
এ শাশ্বত বাণী শুনিও

Oh You, come to the home in secret;
My lengthy slumber, do break it asunder.
Work forgot, if nodding I fall into sleep;
With thundrous invocation, kindly awaken.

"On a forest avenue littered with Spanish cherries,
And when morning sun come smiling, it does speak...
At all times, both good and bad, with you I am here;
Remember that hopeful assurance.

"In a corner of the sky, like a fire blazing,
That magical enchantment, a rainbow it weaves...
It is not benign speech, the sun is a reality;
