Rúp chaŕiye priiti jágiye
Kothá gele ke jáne

Bhálabásár riiti bojhá dáy
Kabhu káche kabhu dúre jhalakáy
Kakhano vindu kakhano sindhu
Sájo prati kśańe

Peyechi baleo balá náhi hay
Hárái hárái mane sadá bhay
Antariikśe shuni tava jay
Bhese áse pavane

তুমি এলে আলো ঝরালে
আমার এ ফুলবনে
রূপ ছড়িয়ে প্রীতি জাগিয়ে
কোথা' গেলে কে জানে

ভালবাসার রীতি বোঝা দায়
কভু কাছে কভু দূরে ঝলকায়
কখনো বিন্দু কখনো সিন্ধু
সাজ প্রতি ক্ষণে

পেয়েছি বলেও বলা নাহি হয়
হারাই হারাই মনে সদা ভয়
অন্তরীক্ষে শুনি তব জয়
ভেসে' আসে পবনে

You came and shed effulgence
At this, my floral garden.
Color having scattered, love having wakened,
Who knows where You went.

Understanding style of affection, it is hard;
Shines sometimes from close-by, sometimes from afar.
On occasion a drop, on occasion an ocean,
Every moment You don a dress.

I've achieved, even by force saying so cannot be;
Lost am I, lost am I, in mind always fear.
Thine is the victory, from stellar space I hear–
Floating on the wind it descends.
