Jántum ná kichu ámi
Bujhtum ná ke go tumi
Ele bujhiye dile
Ámár tumii ácho

Bhávtum shudhu hatáshá
Álo nei neiko áshá
Áṋdháre diipádháre
Shaláká jvele diyecho

তুমি এসেছ ভালো বেসেছ
মন জিনে' নিয়েছ
নিজেই এলে ছন্দে তালে
এ কী লীলা করেছ

জানতুম না কিছু আমি
বুঝতুম না কে গো তুমি
এলে বুঝিয়ে দিলে
আমার তুমিই আছ

ভাবতুম ধুধু হতাশা
আলো নেই নেইকো আশা
আঁধারে দীপাধারে
শলাকা জ্বেলে' দিয়েছ

Not a thing was I knowing;
Who You be, I was not fathoming.
