Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Tumi) Esecho ná bale
(Tabe) Áro káche eso pásht́ite baso
Bájáo bájáo bájáo
Báṋsharii náce tále

Tava ásá pathe káń pete pete
Chinu kata juge kata dine ráte
Ele madhumáse mrdu hese hese
Sab klesh bhulále

Vayu bahe áj madhura svanane
Hiyá spandita madira manane
Ese gele áj carácara ráj
Nava dolá bhuvane dile

Unheralded, You've arrived;
Now come closer, and stay nearby.
Play, play, play
On Your flute in cadence and dance.

Ear to the ground for Your advent
So many ages, day and night, was I.
In spring, smiling tenderly, You came,
And made me forget all my pain.

Today the air carries sweet resonance,
And mind vibrates with thrilling thought.
When the Lord of the universe appeared,
He gave fresh impact to the world.
