Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi je esecho
Maneri mukule
Hásite bhariyá diyecho
Madhurimá dile d́hele

Je bháve ceyechi
Se bhávei peyechi
Upaciyá tumi ele
Saritár dukúle

Jáni tava ásá-jáoyá nái
Se anubhúti to pái nái
Tái jabe bujhi káche ácho
Ánande man d́áná mele

Bhálabási kena jáni ná
Bhálabásá mor sádhaná
Juktite báṋdhite pári ná
Tái buddhike dii d́hele

O lord, you came into the bud of my mind,
and filled it with joy and smile,
poured sweetness.
the way i wanted, i found like that only,
you came overflowing the stream at both banks.
i know that there is no coming and going for you.
but i do not get that experience.
hence whenever i understand that you come close,
the mind spreads its wings with joy.
i do not know why i love you,
loving you is my endeavor, sa’dhana’.
i am unable to bind you with
reasoning and logic;
hence i pelted away the intellect.
