Tumi kache theke kata dur is the 2377th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi káche theke kata dúr
Jáni dekho more marma májháre
Tabe kena karo átur

Tomáre khuṋjite kata deshe gechi
Kata giri arańya ghurechi
Kata ná tiirthe snán kariyáchi
Dekhi ni antahpur

Mor sáthe tomár ei liilá
Anádi káler priiti bhará khelá
Kabhu káche áso kabhu dúre jáo
Bájiye smita núpur

O lord, o baba, you are so close
but even then you are very far.
i know that you observe my inside core,
still why do you make me
so much impatiently distressed.
In search of you, I have visited many countries,
wandered through mountains, and jungles.
I took baths in so many holy ponds and rivers.
but i never cared to look within.
baba, with me you are playing
this loving divine game (liila')
since eternity. sometimes you come close
and sometimes you go far away
but continue playing smiling anklebell.
