Tumi kandiye kena sukha pao is the 1989th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi káṋdiye kena sukha páo
Khushii jhará hási bhará
Dekhte kii mukh náhi cáo

Tomár ámár ei paricay
Ducár juger kabhu to nay
Anádiri garbha theke
Ananta páne bhásáo

Cini tomáy he dayámay
Múrta liiláy tumi avyay
Hásár káṋdár nát́ak tomár
Jenei racaná kare jáo

O lord,
why do you feel pleasure
in making others weep?

Do not you want to see happy, smiling faces?

This acquaintance between you and me
did not start only of a few ages ago.

From the womb of begininglessness,
You make one float into infinite time.

O the embodiment of kindness,
I recognise you.
You are the inexhaustible embodiment
of the divine play.

To make one smile and cry is part of your drama.
You create everything knowingly.
