Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Tumi) Nityashuddha paramárádhya
(Tumi) Álora ságare enecho ván
(Tumi) Rauṋe rúpe bhare diyecho dharáre
Ujjiivita karecho práń

Parashe tomár nikhil jegeche
Jágáno vishva práńbhará
Haraśe tomár vishva meteche
Mátáno nikhil álojhará
Eki tumi shata rúpe ásiyácho
Shata dháre kari jiivana dán

Niilákáshe jváliyá rekhecho
Ajasra rauṋe bhará tárá
Hatásh jiivane sumukhe esecho
Seje sakalera dhruvatárá
Eki tumi shata bháve ásiyácho
Sabáre karáte muktisnán

You, the eternal, everpure object
Of supreme adoration,
Have created a tremendous wave
The ocean of effulgence.
You fill the earth with exquisite colours and forms,
And make her vibrant with life.

You have awakened the universe with your divine touch.
It is full of your refreshing vigour,
Intoxicated with your joy
And radiant with your brilliant light.

You are one, yet you have enlivened the world
With your countless forms.
You have created the vast skies
Where millions of stars scintillate
Their multicoloured lights.

To those in the depths of dark despair
You appear as the pole star.
You are one, but in your myriad forms
You have come to bathe each entity
In the eternal waters of liberation.
