Tumi path bhule jadi ele
Jeneshune nái bá ele
Nái bá ele nái bá ele
Sámarthya nái kari nimantrańa
Tabu jadi ele avahele

Nái ámár svarńa siḿhásan
Ciináḿshuke sájáno ásan
Álpaná diye path sájiye
Rákhi ni bharasá jadi ele bhule

Mor e kut́iire prácurja nái
Lokadekháno aeshvarjo nái
Man bhará mádhurja niyei
Áshá kari jadi bhule ese gele

তুমি পথ ভুলে’ যদি এলে
জেনেশুনে’ নাই বা এলে
নাই বা এলে নাই বা এলে
সামর্থ্য নাই করি নিমন্ত্রণ
তবু যদি এলে অবহেলে’

নাই আমার স্বর্ণ-সিংহাসন
চীনাংশুকে সাজানো আসন
আল্পনা দিয়ে পথ সাজিয়ে
রাখি নি ভরসা যদি এলে ভুলে’

মোর এ কুটিরে প্রাচুর্য নাই
লোকদেখানো ঐশ্বর্যও নাই
মন ভরা মাধুর্য নিয়েই
আশা করি যদি ভুলে’ এসে’ গেলে

O lord, i wished you to visit me
even by mistake of forgetting your path,
but you never came.
i had no capacity to invite you,
still i wished you to have come,
even by negligence.
i had no golden throne,
neither silk bed sheet decorated seat.
and i had not decorated the path with alpana'
with hope of your arrival by mistake.
There is no effluence of wealth
in this hut of mine
neither even plentiful ness
shown to the world.
But with sweetness filled mind
i have expected that you would come
by mistake of forgetting the path.
