Mukulita latikáy surabhita málikáy
Phuler paráge bheseche áji

Láj bhay shauṋká dúre sariye dáo
Sakal áshauṋká jaláiṋjali dáo
Sabáre ápan kare amiya mádhurii bhare
Maner gahane heseche áji

Desh kál pátrer kona paricay nay
Priitibhará hiyá shudhu e kánure kare jay
Mánav tanimá jár tári áche adhikár
E kathá jániye diyeche áji

অজানা পথিক এসেছে (আজি)
মুকুলিত লতিকায় সুরভিত মালিকায়
ফুলের পরাগে ভেসেছে আজি

লাজ-ভয়-শঙ্কা দূরে সরিয়ে দাও
সকল আশঙ্কা জলাঞ্জলি দাও
সবারে আপন করে' অমিয় মাধুরী ভরে'
মনের গহনে হেসেছে আজি

দেশ-কাল-পাত্রের কোন পরিচয় নয়
প্রীতিভরা হিয়া শুধু এ কানুরে করে জয়
মানব তনিমা যার তারই আছে অধিকার
এ কথা জানিয়ে দিয়েছে আজি

Today the Unknown Traveler has come
In creepers blossoming and in fragrant garlands;
Today, He has floated upon floral pollen.

Cast afar timidity, fear and apprehension;
All your doubts abandon!
Making all His own and infusing honeyed sweetness,
He has smiled in the mind's deepest niche.

On basis of time, space, or form, there is no familiarity;
With this Kanu,[nb 2] just a love-filled heart succeeds.
Those with human subtlety, theirs alone is the authority;
This fact He has made known presently.
