Álo jhariye madhu kśariye
Áṋdhár sariye tumi esecha
Phul phut́iye khúshii lut́iye
Ásh mit́iye tumi hesecha

Tomár ásár áshe jiiv jegechila
Tomár ásár pathe tárá ceyechila
Ele vyathá bujhile
Priitir pasará d́hele diyecha

Je saritá hárála dhárá
Je gán hayeche sárá
D́heu tár sur tár sáthe enecha

আলো ঝরিয়ে মধু ক্ষরিয়ে
আঁধার সরিয়ে তুমি এসেছ
ফুল ফুটিয়ে খুশী লুটিয়ে
আশ মিটিয়ে তুমি হেসেছ

তোমার আসার আশে জীব জেগেছিল
তোমার আসার পথে তারা চেয়েছিল
এলে ব্যথা বুঝিলে
প্রীতির পসরা ঢেলে’ দিয়েছ

যে সরিতা হারাল ধারা
যে গান হয়েছে সারা
ঢেউ তার সুর তার সাথে এনেছ

Light diffused, sweetness spilled;
Gloom removed... You've arrived.
Flower blossomed, pleasure relished,
Hope fulfilled... You have smiled.

Anticipating Your arrival, living beings had been keen;
O'er the path of Your advent they had been watching.
You did come, and the pain You fathomed;
Lavishly You've conferred the wares of love.

The river that lost its current,
The song that has been ruined...
Its ripple and its pitch, You have brought with.
