রূপে রসে মার্মিকতায়
তোমায় পেতে চেয়েছি

(আমি) পড়েছিলুম ধূলোর 'পরে
কেউ ছিল না দেখতে মোরে
অমানিশার আঁধার ঘোরে
তোমায় শুধু দেখেছি

শোকে তাপে আর্তনাদে
আকাশ-ভাঙ্গা বজ্রপাতে
সবাই দূরে গেছে সরে'
