Sab kichu mánavatá mishiye d́hálo
Cái bhálo áro bhálo

Bahu jug cale geche jaŕbhávanáy
Pratyabhijiṋá eneche maru máyáy
Ár nay purátan áno já cira nútan
Sandhyámálatii hese áshá jágálo

Avajiṋá kariyácho bahu janke
Jano ná tá dahiyáche mánavatáke
Atiiter gláni bhule sabe d́áko hát tule
Vijay ketan dekhe uŕe callo

আঁধার এসেছে আলো জ্বালো
সহে না এ নিকষ কালো
সব কিছু মানবতা মিশিয়ে ঢাল
চাই ভালো আরো ভালো

বহু যুগ চলে’ গেছে জড়ভাবনায়
প্রত্যভিজ্ঞা এনেছে মরু মায়ায়
আর নয় পুরাতন আনো যা’ চির নূতন
সন্ধ্যামালতী হেসে’ আশা জাগাল

অবজ্ঞা করিয়াছ বহু জনকে
জান না তা’ দহিয়াছে মানবতাকে
অতীতের গ্লানি ভুলে’ সবে ডাক হাত তুলে’
বিজয়-কেতন দেখে উড়ে’ চলল

Kindle light... darkness has come;
This utter ebon can't be borne.
Imbue all things with humanity;
I want prosperity and more prosperity.

Many an age has passed, musing on inertia;
It has brought self-recognition like a desert-mirage;
So bring you the ever-new, no more stuff outdated;
An evening jasmine having laughed, hope it awakened.

A host of people you are overlooking...
You don't realize that it's blistering humanity.
Languor past ignored, hands upraised invite everybody;
The flag of victory is seen... flying it began.
