Tárakár álo káloy d́hekeche
Virahińii hiyá rayeche cáhiyá
Niirave kahiche kata ná

Se caliyá giyáchilo phálgune
Kál kát́e tava shudhu kál guńe
Maner mádhurii kár bháve bhari
Kare jáo kár sádhaná

আঁখি জলে ভরে' গেছে কার তরে
ওগো সুনয়না বল না
বল না বল না বল না
কে সে নিষ্ঠুর ভুলেছে তোমারে
করে' গেছে শুধু ছলনা

বরষার শাদা মেঘ যে নেবেছে
তারকার আলো কালোয় ঢেকেছে
বিরহিণী হিয়া রয়েছে চাহিয়া
নীরবে কহিছে কত না

সে চলিয়া গিয়াছিল ফাল্গুনে
কাল কাটে তব শুধু কাল গুণে'
মনের মাধুরী কার ভাবে ভরি'
করে' যাও কার সাধনা
