Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ásoni sukher dine
Ele samádhite dite phul
Basoni siḿhásane
Mochoni carańa rátul

Dekhechi anek liiláy
Shata rúpe áloy cháyáy
Báṋshite belá abeláy
D́eke gecho marme atul

Dyutimay pariveshe
Cinmay se áveshe
Man jete cáy je mishe
Tomáte ávege ákul

O Lord, You do not come in happy days,
and came in engrossment, offering flower.
You do not sit on the throne
and do not wipe Your red feet.
I see many divine plays, liila’,
in hundreds of forms of light and shade.
With the sound of Your flute,
You go on calling in the core of the heart
in excellent styles from time to time.
In the illuminated environment,
with the impulse of consciousness,
the mind wants to go merge in You
restlessly with speed.
