Nei kona guń hena
Jár jore d́áki tomáre

Nei kona[nb 2] vidyá ságarasamán
Buddhio nei beshii parimáń
Ajogyatáy tháki hatamán
Keu cáy náko more phire

Eká tumi mor bharasá
Nirásh práńe rauṋin áshá
Mor pipásá bhálabásá
Keval tomáy ghire ghire

ভুল করে’ এসো প্রিয়
আমার এই কুটিরে
নেই কোন গুণ হেন
যার জোরে ডাকি তোমারে

নেই কোন বিদ্যা সাগরসমান
বুদ্ধিও নেই বেশী পরিমাণ
অযোগ্যতায় থাকি হতমান
কেউ চায় নাকো মোরে ফিরে’

একা তুমি মোর ভরসা
নিরাশ প্রাণে রঙিন আশা
মোর পিপাসা ভালবাসা
কেবল তোমায় ঘিরে’ ঘিরে’

By mistake please arrive, my Darling,
At this modest hut of mine.
I have nothing like a virtuous quality,
By whose dint Yourself I invite.

I've no knowledge like an ocean,
Nor an intellect in much measure.
Shamefaced, I stay meritless;
Nobody wants me changed.

You alone are my shelter;
Painted hope in life dejected.
What I crave is adoration;
Round You only is it always.
