Sabár hiyár ápanár
Ke tomáre cene ke tomáre jáne
Abodhya tumi apár

Jukti tarke jakhani khuṋjechi
Ásháhata haye phiriyá esechi
Bhava bhávanáy jakhani d́ubechi
Sumukhe esecho báre bár

Ahamiká more dúre rekhechilo
Práńer pradiipe d́heke diyechilo
Sei ávarań sarále jakhan
Tomáte halum ekákár

চন্দনসার মণিদ্যুতিহার
সবার হিয়ার আপনার
কে তোমারে চেনে কে তোমারে জানে
অবোধ্য তুমি অপার

যুক্তি-তর্কে যখনই খুঁজেছি
আশাহত হয়ে ফিরিয়া এসেছি
তব ভাবনায় যখনই ডুবেছি
সুমুখে এসেছ বারে বার

অহমিকা মোরে দূরে রেখেছিল
প্রাণের প্রদীপে ঢেকে দিয়েছিল
সেই আবরণ সরালে যখন
তোমাতে হলুম একাকার

O lord, you are the essence of sandal,
garland of shining gem,
own belonging of all hearts.
who can recognize you or understand you,
you are unlimited beyond knowledge.
when I search you with logic and reasoning,
i return disappointed.
but when i sink in your ideation,
you come face to face time and again.
my own ego has kept me away from you
and kept covered the lamp of life.
when i remove that covering,
i become one with you.
