In this discourse Anandamurti is explaining a shloka: Bhaktirbhagavato sevá, Bhaktih premasvarúpińii, Bhaktiránandarúpá ca, Bhaktih bhaktasya jiivanam. Bhakti means calling the Supreme with sincere love and devotion. Serving Bhagavan (He who possesses these qualities: áeshvarya, prátapa, yasha, shrii, jiṋána, and vaerágya) means serving His creation. Anandamurti then explains those six qualities. For example, the term yasha means the entity who polarizes humanity into moral versus immoral people. Per the shloka, Anandamurti confirms the assertion that devotion is the essence of life for a devotee.
