Eso tumi rauṋe rúpe
Ámár maner ańu ańute
Tomáy khuṋje beŕiyechi je
Janam bhare deshe deshete

Dúre kotháo pái ni tomáy
Kácheo dekhi náhi páoyá jáy
Tiirthe vane girimáláy
Náhi peye káṋdi nibhrte

Ceye dekhi mane ácho
Manete phul phut́iyecho
Man-korake madhu stabake
Háscho base alakśyete

এসো তুমি রঙে রূপে
আমার মনের অণু-অণুতে
তোমায় খুঁজে’ বেড়িয়েছি যে
জনম ভরে’ দেশে দেশেতে

দূরে কোথাও পাই নি তোমায়
কাছেও দেখি নাহি পাওয়া যায়
তীর্থে বনে গিরিমালায়
নাহি পেয়ে কাঁদি নিভৃতে

চেয়ে দেখি মনে আছ
মনেতে ফুল ফুটিয়েছ
মনকোরকে মধু স্তবকে
হাসছ বসে’ অলক্ষ্যেতে

O lord, please come in each atom of my mind
with form and colour.
i have been searching throughout my whole life
from country to country.
i could never find you anywhere
at distance or even close by.
i did not get you in any holy land
or over the mountain peak
nor by crying in isolation.
on looking within, i find you present
into my mind blooming flowers.
into the recess of my mind,
you smile sitting invisibly
on the sweet flower of my folded hands.
