Jadi nayane na bhase ar karo chabi is the 816th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Jadi) Nayane ná bháse ár káro chabi
Carańe ámáre dekho[nb 2] tumi
(Jadi) Manane ná áse graha tárá ravi
Hrtkamale mor eso námi

Hiyára sab madhu rekhechi saiṋciyá
Tomári lágiyá jatana kariyá
Eso dhiire dhiire manera gabhiire
Úśara upala utkrami

Prárabdha more pashcáte t́áne
Egiye calite bádhá se dite jáne
Tumi se bádháy krpákańikáy
Bhásáye dáo jene sharańágata ámi

When some other image does not rise before Your eyes,
Please see me at Your lotus feet.
When planets, stars, and sun don't occupy Your thought,
Please alight upon the lotus of my heart.

All my psychic honey I've been storing
Very carefully for You only.
Stately, step into my mental hollow,
Transmuting any barren stone.

Holding me back are my reactive momenta;[nb 3]
Adept are they at setting blocks to progress.
With just a speck of grace those blocks You
Float away. Knowing that, I come for refuge.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ In later texts, the word rekho (রেখো) sometimes appears. However, in the earliest texts and in the audio recording, the word dekho (দেখো) is found. Following on the first line, dekho makes more sense.
  3. ^ In Saḿskrta, reactive momenta are known as saḿskára or prárabdha.
