Se kathá balo ámáre
Balo tomár maner kathá

Áji e ráuṋá prabháte
Tarulatá phuler sáthe
Kay kathá gandhe mete
Kena tava niiravatá

Malayánil madhute
Bhárii haye áji práte
Páre ná calite pathe
Kena tava caiṋcalatá

জলে ভরা আঁখি কেন
কে দিয়েছে মনে ব্যথা
সে কথা বলো আমারে
বলো তোমার মনের কথা

আজি এ রাঙা প্রভাতে
তরুলতা ফুলের সাথে
কয় কথা গন্ধে মেতে'
কেন তব নীরবতা

মলয়ানিল মধুতে
ভারী হয়ে আজি প্রাতে
পারে না চলিতে পথে
কেন তব চঞ্চলতা
