Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Je gán chilo mane gáoyá
Gáini táhá sabhár májhe
Cepe rákhá áshá ákáuṋkśá
Vyakta kariniko láje

Maner kathá tumi jáno
Marmete kán pete shono
Maner rájá neiko kono
Dvidhá tomár káche

Sabhár pare báire ese
Sakal gáner resher sheśe
Ná-gáoyá gán shuni bháse
Mańi dyutir sáje
Lajjá bhule ásháy dule
Tomár krpái jáce

O Lord, the song that was sung in my mind,
that I did not sing during the public gathering.
The hopes and desires that I had kept
suppressed in the mind, I did not express
due to shyness. You know the events of my mind,
as You listen attentively to the voice of my core.
O the King of my mind, I have no dilemma
in front of You. After coming out from the gathering,
at the end of traces of all songs,
the unsung song come into my ears
floating adorned with glittering gems.
Ignoring shyness, swinging with hopes,
I seek Your grace.
