Álo jhariye áshá bhariye
Práń d́hele sabáre bhálobáso

Latáy pátáy sei hási geche chaŕiye
Phule phale tá geche upaciye
Dharár dhúlikańáy madhuratá mákhiye
Andha tamasár sab kálo násho

Maner mańikot́háy se hási chuṋyeche
Práńer pelavatáy parasha diyeche
Kulish kat́horatáke kusumakomala d́áke
Udvel kare diye hrdákáshe bháso

কে গো মোহন হাসো
মোহন হাসো
আলো ঝরিয়ে আশা ভরিয়ে
প্রাণ ঢেলে সবারে ভালোবাসো

লতায় পাতায় সেই হাসি গেছে ছড়িয়ে
ফুলে ফলে তা গেছে উপচিয়ে
ধরার ধূলিকণায় মধুরতা মাখিয়ে
অন্ধ তমসার সব কালো নাশো

মনের মণিকোঠায় সে হাসি ছুঁয়েছে
প্রাণের পেলবতায় পরশ দিয়েছে
কুলীশ-কঠোরতাকে কুসুমকোমল ডাকে
উদ্বেল করে দিয়ে হৃদাকাশে ভাসো

Who are You with such a charming smile?
Enchanting all, You smile.
Infusing hope and spreading light,
You love each one vested with life.

That smile was scattered on creepers and herbs;
In fruits and flowers it flourished.
On earth's dust motes, sweetness is dabbed;
You oust all darkness from the pitch black.

That smile reached to mind's hall bejeweled,
And it caressed heart's tenderness.
A gentle flower beckons the sternness of a thunderbolt;
Having filled it to the brim, on my mindsky You float.
