Kusumita vane ekla vijane is the 2583rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kusumita vane eklá vijane
Basiyáchilám tava tare (ámi)
Pákhiir kújan malaya vyajan
D́ákiyá caliyáchilo[nb 2] more

Dui cáṋd nái ámár ákáshe
Tava smita jyotsnáy man bháse
Duhkhe ár sukhe káṋde ár háse
He devatá tomákei ghire

Tomáre ceyechi jiivane marańe
Mor astitver pratikśańe
Tomákei smare bhási áṋkhiniire
Maner deule báre báre

At a garden blooming, alone and lonely,
For You I'd been waiting.
Bird's chirping and a zephyr's fan,
They had kept on calling me.

In my sky two moons aren't there;
Mind drifts upon Your moonlight smiling,
In mirth and in sorrow, in both grins and tears,
All around You only, hey Divinity.

In life and death I have pined for Thee
At each and every moment of my being;
Remembering just You I float in tears,
Time and again on the shrine of psyche.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ Almost all of the written source gives baliyáchilo here. However, in this rare instance, preference is given to the audio rendition. Caliyáchilo makes more sense, and a typo of ba instead of ca in Bangla script is not uncommon.
