Lord Buddha's Cardinal Principles is the second discourse given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti in Valencia, Spain. The discourse was delivered in English on the evening of 1979 May 30. This discourse is the 28th chapter of Ananda Vacanamrtam Part 12.
Anandamurti starts the discourse by introducing Lord Buddha and His eight-fold path. He then explains that "Buddha" means intuitive knowledge, acquired through spiritual practice. Anandamurti goes on explaining the meaning of each cardinal principle, namely: Samyak Darshana, Samyak Saḿkalpa, Samyak Vak, Samyak Ájiiva, Samyak Vyáyáma, Samyak Karmánta, Samyak Smrti, and Samyak Samádhi.
