Maner májhe mádhurii sáje
Ke go tumi ele áji prabháte
Cineo tomáy cená náhi jáy
Juger vivartan prati palete

Jakhani bhevechi bujhiyá gechi
Tomár svarúp ámi jene niyechi
Para kśańe ágháta hene
Bujháye diyecho párini jánite

Jakhani mane ahamiká eseche
Pratiśt́há práptir ásha jegeche
Mát́ir e ghar sabi nashvar
Bujháyecho grasta habe kálete

মনের মাঝে মাধুরী সাজে
কে গো তুমি এলে আজি প্রভাতে
চিনেও তোমায় চেনা নাহি যায়
যুগের বিবর্তন প্রতি পলেতে

যখনই ভেবেছি বুঝিয়া গেছি
তোমার স্বরূপ আমি জেনে' নিয়েছি
পর ক্ষণে আঘাত হেনে'
বুঝায়ে দিয়েছ পারিনি জানিতে

যখনই মনে অহমিকা এসেছে
প্রতিষ্ঠা-প্রাপ্তির আশ জেগেছে
মাটির এ ঘর সবই নশ্বর
বুঝায়েছ গ্রস্ত হবে কালেতে

Inside mind, Sweetness Adorned,
Oh Who are You that came this morn?
Even knowing You, recognition does not happen;
At every instant is an epoch's transformation.

As soon as I've imagined I've got understanding,
That knowing Your true nature I've achieved,
In the next instant, a blow is struck;
You've conveyed that I could not fathom.

In the mind, at moment when pride has come,
When hope has stirred of grounds for acquisition,
This house of clay proves totally destructible;
You've made known: in time it will be swallowed up.
